A simple stock company

With effect from 01.01.2017, it is possible to establish, in addition to the four already existing types of business companies in Slovakia, a new fifth type of a business company, namely the so-called simple stock company.

The above mentioned change is a result of the adoption of Act No. 389/2015 Coll. on Amending and Supplementing the Act No. 513/1991 Coll., Commercial Code, as amended.
