“Amendment of the Execution Code”

The National Council of the Slovak Republic adopted on 29.11.2016 the Act No. 2/2017 Coll. on Amending and Supplementing the Act No. 233/1995 Coll. on Court Distrainers and Distraint Procedures (the Distrainment Rules) and on Amendment and Supplements to Certain Acts (hereinafter referred to as the “Amendment“). The aim of the Amendment is to accelerate the enforcement proceedings, increase the impartiality of court distrainers, and to introduce a method of electronic communication between the parties to the enforcement proceedings. Individual parts of the Amendment will come into effect gradually, while the entire version of the Amendment as such will enter into effect on 01.07.2017.
